Palladini Productions has been invited to open the 2011 More London Festival at the Scoop Amphitheatre this year. They will debut their new play ‘Citiest of Cities’ where two rival tour companies compete to tell their alternate histories of London. The play will show on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of June 2011.

Also in 2011 the company’s founder Saima Duhare is teaming up with photographer Harald Haugan to present a new exhibition ‘Where is my Home’ bringing to light images and stories of London’s homeless population. Details are still to be announced.

In 2010 Palladini Productions toured central London theatres with their successful production ‘I’m A Londoner’, a play celebrating and exploring London’s diversity. I’m a Londoner first appeared at the Tristan Bates Theatre (a sell-out performance) and then – due to public demand – transferred to Jackson’s Lane Theatre, where it also sold out. It then went on to show at the More London Festival at the Scoop Amphitheatre in June 2010 to an audience of 800 and then The Courtyard Theatre later in the summer.

Prior to that, Palladini Productions brought us ‘1867’ a play which featured during 2010’s Black History Month, playing first at The Brockley Jack Theatre in October 2009 and then at the Rich Mix Theatre in February 2010.

As a company Palladini Productions is devoted to producing high quality entertainment including theatre, short and feature films and shows for TV. The company are now in the final stages of adapting ‘I’m a Londoner’ from a stage production to a screenplay. The characters that made audiences all over London question their place in this city’s throbbing heart in 2010 are the driving force behind the screenplay - which is set to go into production later this year.
